This evening, the Royal Gibraltar Regiment provided additional security to the Grenadier Guards Mount at The Convent. Grenadier Guardsmen were mounted on sentry, and were then inspected by Lieutenant KingDimAlt, Second-In-Command of the Regiment.

Yesterday evening, Golf Company of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment was inspected by HRH the Duke of Edinburgh in John Mackintosh Square. The Regiment was part of celebration for Gibraltar National Day, reaffirming Gibraltar's commitment to His Majesty, the King and Britain.

🪖This evening, the Royal Gibraltar Regiment were deployed to the Homs Governorate in Syria as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. The Regiment deployed alongside NATO allies to restore stability to the region as part of an effort to cease an ongoing civil war.

This evening, the Royal Gibraltar Regiment and Royal Marines conducted Operation Rock Hard in the City of Gibraltar. The Operation aimed to retake key sites from the hands of Spanish Insurgents and extract the Governor who had been held captive in The Convent.

This evening, the Royal Gibraltar Regiment said farewell to His Excellency, the outgoing Governor of Gibraltar. Thomson's Battery fired a 21 gun salute, before a quick inspection ending with the handover of the Keys to the city of Gibraltar to the Port Sergeant.

The Battery were then reviewed by the Commanding Officer and His Majesty, the King of Denmark before a quick inspection of the Gunners was conducted.

This evening, Thomson's Battery practiced their gun salute in Devil's Tower Camp. This is part of ongoing preparations by the Royal Gibraltar Regiment and Royal Gibraltar Police in time for the Governor's Farewell Parade on the 31st of August.

This evening, we bid farewell to Lieutenant Colonel dnc_mark, who has been appointed Honorary Colonel of the Regiment for his service. In his place, Lieutenant Colonel unknown_lzds returns to the helm as Commanding Officer of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment.

💂This evening, I Company of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment was inspected by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Sussex in The Convent Gardens. The Duke of Sussex also serves as the Honourary Colonel, representing the close link that the Regiment has to the Crown.

🎆 The Royal Gibraltar Regiment has obtained multiple L119 Light Guns as part of plans to start the operations of Thomson's Battery. Thomson's Battery will hold Operational and Ceremonial Artillery capabilities including gun salutes during major occasions.

📋This evening, I Company of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment were inspected by Major Molyneux as part of his final review before the inspection by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Sussex. The Major was able to identify minor discrepancies and opportunities to refine the parade.

🎶Lance Corporal smickers_70 has been appointed the Piper of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment. The Piper will be present for major occasions donning his uniform and playing tunes from his bagpipes.

🇬🇮🤝🇬🇧 Yesterday evening, I Company of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment participated in a mock inspection by the Commanding Officer in time of the Honourary Colonel's Review. The mock inspection was viewed by delegates from the Royal Air Force and the Grenadier Guards.

🪖Yesterday evening, I Company of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment engaged in a livefire exercise at Imber Village following their successful training with blank rifles. The exercise was overseen by His Excellency, the Governor-General and the Lieutenant Governor.

💂This afternoon, I Company practiced their Marching Drill followed by a Mock Inspection at Devil's Tower Camp. The Regiment is set to be inspected by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Sussex and the Governor-General this weekend at The Convent.

🪖 This evening, I Company engaged in a night-time reconnaissance exercise in Imber Village, where personnel practiced Fieldcraft skills in a controlled environment. The exercise is part of an initiative to ready the Regiment for any internal or external conflict.

The Royal Gibraltar Regiment was out in full force this evening, conducting a Mount at The Convent while the Governor was in residence. When not maintaining security duties, a detachment of I Company is mounted at the Governor's residence as part of a long standing tradition.

💂This evening the Royal Gibraltar Regiment was inspected by His Excellency, the Governor at Devil's Tower Camp. The Inspection was conducted under the watchful eye of the Sarn't Major, who ensured the highest standards of Drill during the Parade.

This evening, the Sarn't Major met with the Platoon Sergeants of I Company at Devil's Tower Camp. They discussed their newfound roles alongside the future plans of the regiment and the road ahead.
