Back in action & still flying! Fresh off their victory at Warwick 7s at the weekend, our U13s returned to the pitch on Wednesday for the Caldicott 7s. The squad were outstanding in the group stages, winning all their matches to progress to the Cup. They then powered past Berkhamsted Boys 6–1, followed by an impressive 20–10 win over @WarwickSchool to secure a place in the final against the hosts. It was a tough final & they narrowly lost 10–15 to a well-drilled @CaldicottSchool side. Losing a final is always gutting, but we couldn’t be prouder of the determination, teamwork & effort shown by this squad throughout the tournament. @rgshw #Caldicott7s #CaldicottSevens #RugbySevens #TheRGSHWWay

Upon learning the plight of our church organs in the news today I blame a lot of factors for this. Apathetic clergy and congregations, not enough tuition, dioceses more interested in those "church plants" than nurturing and nourishing the traditional elements of our church life.
