Shyam Steel Campus Placement Drive successfully conducted at Rajiv Gandhi University! The Placement Cell, Rajiv Gandhi University, proudly organized a campus placement drive in collaboration with Shyam Steel for MBA students on 28th April 2026 from 2:00 PM onwards. The drive witnessed enthusiastic and disciplined participation from students of Rajiv Gandhi University, along with active involvement from students of the Department of Civil Engineering and Management, NERIST—reflecting a strong spirit of inter-institutional engagement and professional readiness. The entire process was conducted seamlessly, showcasing the commitment of the university towards excellence in placements and industry collaboration. Our students demonstrated remarkable confidence, competence, and industry-oriented skills throughout the drive. The results are currently awaited. Congratulations to Miss Taba Jirpu, a Ph.D. research scholar under supervision of Dr. Arnab Ghosh, at the Department of Zoology, Rajiv Gandhi University, has been selected for the prestigious Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowships 2026-2027. Taba Jirpu is the first student of Rajiv Gandhi University and the state to be selected for this prestigious Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowship. Jirpu works in the field of cancer biology and aims to find better therapeutics for Pancreatic Cancer patients, utilizing Extracellular Vesicles. 📢 Campus Placement Drive Report The Placement Cell of Rajiv Gandhi University successfully conducted a virtual Campus Placement Drive in collaboration with IDBI Bank on 7th April 2026 for MBA students. The drive was organized in online mode for the position of Junior Assistant Manager, enabling a smooth and structured recruitment process. MBA students actively participated, demonstrating their managerial aptitude, communication skills, and professional readiness. We are proud to share that five students have been successfully selected through this recruitment process. 📢 Campus Placement Drive Update The Placement Cell of Rajiv Gandhi University successfully organized a Campus Placement Drive in collaboration with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, Naharlagun, for the position of Sales Manager on 13th April 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards. A total of 23 students actively participated in the recruitment process, representing diverse academic backgrounds including Commerce, Management, PGDBI, and English.
