Is there anything more disappointing than your fancy new horse running in it's maiden, leading the race and then dying in the last 2 furlongs and finishing last?

Got a few now horses today. Wasn't expecting 3 SS- but feels good to see the grades starting to come in on our breeding plan. Performance on the track will ultimately be the determinant but feeling good seeing these this morning.
