The Edward M. Kennedy Institute's Senate Immersion Module recently hosted the RI Civic Leadership Program. Students participated in a 2.5 hour simulation as U.S. Senators, crafting their own bill and debating in the replica Senate chamber.

Over the weekend, Secretary Amore helped kick off the 2026 RI Academic Decathlon. Hundreds of high school students from over a dozen schools across the state met at Bryant University to compete across 10 categories. Congratulations to this year's winner, The Wheeler School!
