Professor in @RITBME, Blanca Lapizco-Encinas received a @NSF grant for $348,000 to develop a new separation technique to be used in microfluidic devices. Her work will focus on determining if the process is analogous to techniques such as chromatography. bddy.me/36SIWok

We hope to help explain and understand why 70% of sepsis patients suffer long-term cognitive impairment. I'm excited that the RIT team will include close colleagues @abhyankar_lab and @stevendayritbme helping to build and validate the chip platform.
