Really pleased to see David Payne get an IPL gig. His recent Blast numbers are a joke (50 wickets @ 15.76; ER: 6.51 over the last two seasons), and he's been a big part of title-winning sides in the BBL and ILT20.

A much-deserved IPL deal for David Payne, who grafted as a one-club county stalwart until his mid-30s and then became one of the best T20 seamers on the franchise circuit. Capped only once by England, but won the Big Bash and ILT20 this winter - a class act, on and off the field.
