@Chitailova I can underatand that. But do you also have to love your government, no matter what they do, no matter how barbaric they are, no matter how many innocents they do harm to? Should you be able to love your country but condemn the criminals that run it?

Some of you asked: “If you love Russia so much, why don’t you go back?” Each person’s journey is different, and it’s easy to judge others without looking at our own lives. I left Russia at 19, not because I wanted to, but because of very difficult family circumstances. I never planned to leave. I grew up between Russia and Eastern Ukraine. My summers were spent on my grandmother’s farm: endless steppes, milking cows in 40-degree heat, eating fresh pirozhki for lunch. In winter, I went to the theatre (mostly Tabakov) three times a week. I devoured Chekhov, Tolstoy, Bulgakov, and knew many of Akhmatova’s poems by heart. The 90s were chaotic - mafia, insecurity - but that wasn’t why I left. I left because my beloved late mother lived in the Netherlands, happily married to a Dutch man, and I was running from childhood trauma. I simply wasn’t welcome anymore in my own family home. That was thirty years ago. Since then I’ve lived in Brussels (where I got my Bachelor’s), Amsterdam (where I had my first psychosis), and the UK (where I got my PhD and had my son). Along the way I fell deeply in love with Europe, and especially with the Netherlands, which became my true home. I’ve been Dutch for over twenty years now, and I cherish that. But I also still cherish my Russian childhood: beautiful Moscow, long train rides, babushkas selling sunflower seeds and pirogi, nights by the fire singing with friends, magnificent underground stations, art galleries, and the warmth of old friendships. Loving Russia doesn’t mean I have to live there. I love the Netherlands too. Both are part of me.

@imPascalNajadi @PDQ_Panda You do realise that the arms shipments to Ukraine is the the most audited anywhere. And those US official audits prove this is total BS. But you carry on talking shite and collecting your monthly pay check from your handler.

Holy Shit! 🚨BREAKING: Retired Col. Doug Macgregor confirms Mexican Drug Cartels have Javelin Missile Systems that we sent to Ukraine, along the US Border • he says border patrol and the Texas guard confirmed 100 yards on the other side into Mexico, you’ll see all their Javelin Missile systems lined up — the same missile systems we sent to Ukraine. To make matters crazier, Russia ended up with some Weapons as well. 🤯 “About 50% of everything that showed up (Ukraine) ended up somewhere it didn’t belong.” • In addition, he says cartel members get free healthcare, free dental care… whaaaa? FOLLOW @SpecialForceWeb THE NEXT DROP WILL BE SHOCKING

Exzellent.

@Glenn_Diesen Nope, nothing to do with NATO. Heres the stupidity of most people. They assumed the power of the soviet union was russia. Well guess what Ukraine was also the soviet union, and any technology came from Ukraine. The world is finally waking up to that fact

The massive NATO-backed attack on Moscow demonstrates that our rulers have lost their minds. The reason for Russia's restraint is that once it retaliates against NATO, there will be no escalation control, and the conflict will likely spiral into nuclear war.

I know supporters of Ukraine will cheer this on, but these kinds of hits will no more knock Russia out of the war than the past three years of Russian strikes throughout Ukraine have not knocked them out of the war. HOWEVER… These big public strikes on important centers are more likely to spur Russia to EXPAND its war against Ukraine rather than cause them to contract. Thus, the perverse likely outcome: *successful* Ukrainian strikes into the heart of Russia will push Putin to hit Ukraine even harder, killing more UAF soldiers and destroying more of the country. What these strikes WON’T do is help Ukraine win the war.

Vice President Vance fires back at Obama for claiming the new Iran deal is basically the same as the JCPOA. Vance then asked Obama one question that completely destroyed his entire argument. VANCE: “I’d ask the president, the former president, I’d say Obama, why in the world if it’s the same thing, why is it that the Gulf Arabs hated your deal and they love our deal?” “They are the ones in the region, they know what it means to enrich the worst terrorist regime in the world, and they also know what it means to turn over a new leaf and go to a different future.” “I think president Obama, he should acknowledge that the people who are closest to this, they love the Trump deal.” “They hate the Obama deal.” “And that’s maybe the biggest endorsement of this plan.”

Good morning, my little Russophobes ☀️🇷🇺 Before your daily prediction of Russia’s imminent collapse, here’s a reminder: 🇷🇺 First satellite in space 🇷🇺 First human in space 🇷🇺 First spacewalk 🇷🇺 The only country to successfully land spacecraft on Venus 🇷🇺 Largest country on Earth 🇷🇺 Largest nuclear-powered icebreaker fleet 🇷🇺 Most chess grandmasters 🇷🇺 20% of the world’s trees 🇷🇺 Largest wheat exporter 🇷🇺 World’s largest natural gas reserves 🇷🇺 World’s largest diamond producer 🇷🇺 Home to Lake Baikal, containing 20% of the planet’s unfrozen fresh water 🇷🇺 A currency that refused to collapse despite the “economic ruin” headlines Strange accomplishments for a country that’s supposedly on its last legs.

First pic is Harry’s Angel near side rear leg on the side support on leaving the stalls in the 2018 Diamond Jubilee Stakes. 2nd pic is Bevenuto Cellini today. Harry’s Angel was slow to break and finished 11th of 12 as a 5/2 favourite. Declared starter. Genuine question. Has there been a rule change since then or is there some insinuating circumstances I’m missing here?

Congratulations to the journalists honored today by Ukraine, especially @CaolanReports, @KaterynaLis and @ZarinaZabrisky, all of whom have been doing brilliant work recently! Honorable mentions should also go to: @JimmySecUK @TWMCLtd @OzKaterji @johnsweeneyroar @JuliaDavisNews @JulianRoepcke @IAPonomarenko @jm_stout @olya_rudenko and the team at the Kyiv Independent, and the many other journalists who work every day to bring news from Ukraine to the world (and give me lots of stuff to say on the radio!) You've kept Ukraine in the news even when so much has been going on in this crazy world to distract people from the story. A salute to all of you, and all the others I didn't mention by name.

In his final moments, Henry Nowak told police officers nine times “I can’t breathe” and four times that he had been stabbed. In response police officer dragged him across the gravel, handcuffed and read him his rights. It was the last thing Henry heard before he died.

@FREAKMMA1 Very close fight. Score cards after 10 rounds 95 95, 95 95 and 94 96 to Rico. But lets say hes allowed to go on. 11th round is then scored Thats a 10 8 to Usyk so now its 105 103, 105 103 and 104 104 with one round to go. Usyk wins on points anyway

😲"Boxing doesn’t want anyone else to win" - Tom Aspinall blasts the stoppage in Rico Verhoeven’s fight with Oleksandr Usyk 🚨 “They don’t even let him make it to the end of the round. It’s a fucking robbery. What the f**k is that? Boxing doesn’t want anyone else to win, simple as that. They want boxers with the amateur style coming in, winning the Olympic medal, and then switching over and being unbeaten pros. They don’t like other combat sports.” (via @AspinallMMA )
