The New Breed

I’ve only ever had to seriously chase payment twice before for design work I’ve done. One was 1PW which explains itself, the other was somebody who is now in a prominent non-wrestling position and so I’d never be able to get it from them. But now I’ve had a third. Did the design mid January and haven’t had a response in two months despite message showing as “seen” on Instagram. I’m super easy to speak to and deal with, and I’m lenient and understanding when it comes to people’s circumstances and position. But some people take advantage of that and I’m here to tell you that it’s not okay. If someone does work for you, you pay them, it’s that simple. Even if the excuse is “I won’t use it”, the work has still been done. If the shoe was on the other foot, would you be happy being booked for a show, attend the venue but then be told “ah we’ve decided not to use you so you don’t need paying”. No. 99.9% of people that I’ve dealt with have been the best, and I’d like to think they’d have positive things to say about me. But that small number that want to take the piss, wise up. Sorry for the long rant, just needed to write it out 😂
