Primary reason why we left India. For the same 4-6 cr that a gated community home costs in India, you can get better homes abroad.
And when you exit your compound, you have better quality infra around. And fewer unwashed dehaatis.

One big goal for deshwasis should be to move into a big, premium gated society with running & cycling tracks, swimming pool, tennis, squash courts, children’s playground and a gym. When the people you voted for cannot even provide footpaths or clean drinking water, expecting a public infra is light years away.
