@HalfwayDeadRL main takeaway is that with a new engine update, the game isnt going anywhere, and Epic actually wants it to be bigger. before this a lot of doubts were that Rocket League was dying and that Epic was fine with it that way

How much did they pay you guys to hype up this announcement? Engine upgrade was literally known for years. No release date announced, no features announced aside from graphics. Game probably runs worse then. The potential of a new engine is nice and all but until then...
