Love this concept. We are beginners. Our audience are the ones who dive in and finish the job.

Ever since reading "Eat That Frog" by Brian Tracy, I have found great success by devouring my biggest tasks on my list first and then taking on the little ones that just zip by but drag if I wait to do the biggest one. So here's to you leaping over your own frog tasks.

There are some words that are so fun to say and use. Boondoggle is near the top of my list of absolute favourites. Discombobulate and galavant are two more. What is your favourite word or expression? Great way to characterize your people, too, when writing.

There is a Thoreau quote about arriving faster when you travel alone. This does not apply to most writers. I've always accomplished more when I have participated in writing groups and classes. My list of acknowledgements will be long.
