@EndersFPS I don't understand how reducing muzzle/bullet velocity could negatively impact any other "system"? They could also reduce all 3BTK automatic weapons to 5m before damage drop off, compared to 20m for most.

The issues of Battlefield 6 are incredibly obvious to anyone that plays the game. Move away from 150ms ttk, make the gunplay harder (yes casuals will have to learn how to shoot, oh well) These 2 things are literally the gameplay. How fast you die, and how weapons shoot. FIX IT

Have I really just read that Battlefield 6 has enabled Mortars inside HQ areas and players now can’t fire RPGs whilst sitting in passenger seats of choppers? It’s like whoever is in charge hates fun. Battlefield sandbox is basically dead.

The only stat in Battlefield that really matters is your win percentage. The most effective way to win is by capturing objectives. How do you capture an objective? You get on it. If the enemy tries to stop you, you kill them. Simple. Alternatively, you can keep the enemy off the objective by holding a forward line or providing overwatch as a sniper or support player. Either way, you’re preventing the enemy from getting onto the point while your teammates capture it. This isn’t complicated, so it’s strange how often people try to make it into an issue. If you have a high win percentage, I want you on my team. It means you’re doing something right to support the squad, whether that’s securing kills, controlling space, or backing up teammates. But a low win percentage? That usually tells a different story and that’s not someone I want on my team.

The absence of Apex Legends-style recoil smoothing isn't a bug, and previous Battlefield games didn’t have it either. I went as far as datamining and converting the VCR-2's recoil stats from polar to Cartesian values, then reimplemented them in a modified version of BF4 just to see how they would interact with mouse movement. It turns out the behavior is exactly the same.
