Sad that my time at @UniOfHull as both staff and student has drawn to a close but now eager to start my new role as student education development advisor at @UniversityLeeds 🎓
Thank you for taking part in today’s Emergency Alert test, which saw tens of millions of phones successfully receive the message across the country.
The test took just seconds, but will help the government keep the country safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
@angus_young61@HighwaysYORKS So many incomplete and delayed projects across the city.
Maritime museum, A63, Queen’s Gardens, Boardwalk along the River Hull…
Today we bid a fond farewell to EEI Ops Team member, @aim_hoff. Since 2021, Amy has supported our researchers, particularly our PG research programmes. We’re all extremely sad to see her go but take comfort that she will be making the world a safer place in her new role as a CSI!
In waiting room for 30 mins. Tickets on sale for Hull postcode presale at 6pm. My queue position at 6pm 🙄 @TicketmasterUK not fit for purpose at this point #coldplay#ticketmaster
Pleasure to have hosted @CastleStudies today in Hull with @HFArchaeology to present our findings from the Newhouse excavations this summer, and also have a look at some other sites in Hull. No visit is ever complete without some rain!!
Fantastic week with @HFArchaeology and @CastleStudies over at Newhouse in North Lincolnshire. Looking forward to the post-excavation analysis now… I’d forgotten how tiring digging is!
Just found out - whilst out in the field with my International Summer School students - that I have been promoted to Professor of Archaeological Practice!
@AdamCook1996@UniOfHull@UniversityLeeds I'll mostly be remote but I'm sure I'll be seeing you at some point, whether that's on campus or stuck on a crowded and delayed train ha!
