44yrs ago I spent my first Christmas working as a student nurse. We went around the Wards singing carols in our red capes carrying lit candles! On #Christmasday consultants carved turkey on the ward & had sherry with the Sister @WeStudentNurse @WeNurses

Remembering Rebecca Ikumelo 😞 Rebecca and I were part of the same cohort at Middlesex University. I told her she was an inspiration to me…she’s so humble. Praying that God will comfort and heal her family. Praying God will continue to watch over her children.😢

I’m so sad to read that Rebecca Ikumelo died was one of the first TNAs in the country & in my pilot cohort. This young woman proved how much could be achieved given the right career opportunity. She was a lovely person and good student and one of the 1st NA on the register. #RIP

I’m shell-shocked. A beautiful, kind woman who kept to herself but was always happy to talk if you approached her and was always friendly. She was part of our group that helped establish the Nurse Associate role and is a mum to two children. RIP Becca, and love to your family ❤️
