@NGreentail Play in whatever order you’d like. If you just want to dip your toes in and experience each region this is perfectly acceptable. You are not missing that much like some replies are trying to tell you. The point of pokemon is to make your own journey so have fun.

@iamshylarenae Home connectivity is part of the fun for a lot of people though and the disappointment is 100 percent understandable. Having a key feature get lost sounds logical enough to say nah I don’t want to play it this way. If you can ignore that then great genuinely have fun. XD is cool.

@linkkling Nah I’m with you. The tedious tasks have kept me from replaying it as much as the others and the battle system is just really lame to me. Far from bad game, most of that is just personal preference, but I’d go back to SwoShi and SV over it any day.

@WhiteRaceSavior As a HGSS defender I do think it’s a little disingenuous to boil down all of Johto’s issues to just that. Level curve, poor placement of Johto mons. Stuff I and many others can get over but they’re valid critiques of the game nonetheless.

The most mechanically dense game that asks the most out of the player to engage with everything it offers only to be brushed to the side with "buh no larvitar until postgame" You either recognize this game as top 3 or you deserve nothing but Paldea over and over again
