When is the @RNLI going to hold their PAID management to the same standard they hold their volunteers too? The silence from the RNLI to those who felt they had no choice but to leave Portpatrick RNLI is deafening. Absolutely disgraceful from a charity who claim to care about us.

AOM (paraphrasing) “what if said individual went to the @DailyMail? We need to protect the institution’s reputation” What if we go to the @DailyMail and tell them how inept management has cause the loss of 6 volunteers at one station? @RNLI #failtotrainonelosemany

What we find most fascinating is how @RNLI management don’t take responsibility for their own actions yet they expect volunteers to take responsibility for other people’s actions. 1 pic is the RNLI accusing, 2nd is accused asking for clarity and 3rd is RNLI backtracking. 🧐🧐

How can management openly lie to volunteers and not be held accountable despite multiple complaints backed with evidence? The @RNLI have had weeks to reply to crew and ex-crew but have decided not to. Seems the paid management has closed ranks to protect their wallets. Shameful.

So it would appear that the AOM’s and ATM’s at the @RNLI can lie to and about volunteers to stand them down and when the volunteers report it to the heads of region, the people team and even the CEO they’re met with silence in return. 5 crew have quit over this and again silence.

Whisky is poured over the bow of the new Shannon class lifeboat 13-23 Elizabeth and Gertrude Allan at Girvan after her naming ceremony. Troon Trent class and Portpatrick Tamar were also present to support their neighbours and the Barra Severn also in town for a refit joined in.
