@mskradiology4u1 we are excited to see how the new technology in CT will support our amazing Radiologists to enhance our interventional service.

Our new CT Scanner & Digital X-ray Room has officially opened in Imaging @ROHNHSFT. We are excited to bring cutting edge technology from @SiemensHealth. This equipment has faster workflows for staff/patients with the aim of producing high resolution images whilst reducing dose.

Congratulations to our 2 Apprentice Radiographers, Helen and Josh, who have smashed their year 1 exams. A massive well done from all in Imaging 👏🏻👏🏻

Happy to support #RareDiseaseDay with our Imaging staff. Lots of lovely cakes to raise some money for a great cause.

It's that time of year again & we're so pleased that Ray decided to join the Imaging team again this year....a little late, but he brought us this huge tree to decorate. He's promised to help us tomorrow.

Exciting day today with the arrival of 6 new Image Intensifiers. Our Cios Flows are lightweight for easy maneuverability & have been optimised for the best image quality to aid our surgeons. Can't wait to get using them. @ROHNHSFT @SiemensHealth

Time for Ray to head back to the North Pole and help with the final preparations for this evening. Ray has loved seeing all of the amazing work that is done @ROHNHSFT and he told us that everyone there is on the nice list! Merry Christmas to everyone, See you next year, Ray!🎅🏻🎄

Ray was so starstruck to meet the man himself whilst he was napping 🎅🏻 Did you know Santa worked as a Radiographer throughout the rest of the year!?

Ray has a very important job today, helping to deliver extra special early Christmas presents ... getting people home for the big day!

... And of course Ray completed patient feedback about their amazing experience 🤩

As the MRI scanner refurb nears completion, we needed someone to be the first patient to test the scanner. Who better to be the Elf-pha patient than Ray

Ray also tested out their typing skills ... WOW, those Radiologists talk very fast! Especially @mskradiology4u1 ... Not sure Ray's little hands can keep up!

Ray is keen to learn more so has been helping our Radiologists this morning by reporting some X-rays ... Definitely a case of too many candy canes for this patient!

Ray has been over to see the prize winning decorations and made some new friends too. He was blown away with this hand-made scene. Congratulations to our neighbours in MSK from everyone in Imaging 🏆
