It’s not easy to remove multiple threads from a piece of fabric without ruining the whole piece. It takes time and patience. But I won’t deny that it needs fixing.

Here’s what’s happening… the Democrats had a sitting President do the unthinkable, and sacrifice his own re-election so that his Black, Indian, female Vice President could lead our democracy forward… intact. And even before she picked her own incredible VP, she gave us hope, she rekindled joy, she empowered, she inspired, she embodied the change so many have sought for so long. She is exciting. They are invigorating. And the American people are tired of the fear mongering and the vitriol. They’re tired of looking back. They’re tired of that angry, old-ass, orange man pounding his widdle fists on a podium about whatever irrelevant nonsense du jour happens to have ploppped into his addlepated “brain” that day. They’re tired. We’re tired. We need a change. And change is here folks. It’s here. No amount of old man accordion hands and madman musings are gonna change that fact. Change is here. And we are never going back. Never.
