It’s been a busy week for the school as we’ve hosted not one but two major conferences. First was the @RoySocChem 60th anniversary Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry meeting. Second was a fabulous memorial conference to our late colleague Prof Brendan Howlin.

A great day at the 38th @RSC_HSG postgraduate symposium in Edinburgh (@EdinburghChem)! Group members Tom and @TimHilton98 were in attendance. Tom presented a poster on his work, while Tim presented a prize winning talk!

Congratulations to Darren Dixon @dixon_group @OxfordChemistry, who is the 2024 recipient of the RSC HSG's Charles Rees Award. This commemorates his work on "innovative and creative work on structurally complex heterocyclic alkaloid natural product synthesis"!
