Another busy day at reserve #SavisWarbler again we urge all visitors to respect neighbours, #Otmoor lane is very narrow with limited passing places. Park in marked areas, very limited parking. Pay for parking 😊. Keep the damage to banks to absolute minimum. Thank you. Enjoy.

@LittleBustards @Brians_birds @teesbirds1 @teeswildlife @nybirdnews @RSPBEngland @Natures_Voice Get there very early in the morning ( before dawn ) & you’ll hear both the sexes calling. The male with it’s distinctive call & one where it sounds like a hiccup. The female burbling along.

@LittleBustards Come out the car park & follow the track to the reserve. Turn left. There is a green expanse in front of you. It’s called Greenaways. Most are spotted flying over here. Thou, you can see some anywhere on the reserve in the height of the summer. 👌

29th Apr, a jaunt to RSPB Otmoor to view the Black-winged Stilt in the lovely sunshine. He tried to hide! 2 reeling Grasshopper Warblers were double bonus. A diverted return to Staines Res for the again reported Black Terns drew a blank. Creeping closer with 245 year ticks.
