Capt. Newton - Both hostages were adults. Investigation is ongoing. Large crime scene.

Capt. Newton - the suspect was taken to a local hospital but was not shot.

Capt. Newton - No activities going on near ball fields at Mahany Park during incident.

Captain Newton: Identification of hostages and deceased being withheld until next of kin notified.

Captain Newton: CHP was serving warrant.
