We had a lovely day out at Cranedale yesterday with the science dept. We created scientific drawings using microscopes, dissected a fish and learnt about the differences in biodiversity in steams and woodland! #wearereadytolearn #weareroundhay @RSch_Science

Congratulations to our students who competed in the Yorkshire swimming champs in Leeds and Sheffield this weekend. Lots of finalists and a massive well done to Jess R in Year 8 who won double gold in the relays. @RoundhayHead

We have had the best week skiing in Austria. The pupils have been amazing and each have shown resilience to build confidence and skills on the slope. A special shout out to the girls bus for winning the sing off. @RoundhayHead #proud #tired.

Y8 had a fantastic opportunity yesterday for ‘restart a heart’ day, we had lots of volunteers from @YorksAmbulance who shared their knowledge & training with us. All pupils learnt how to give CPR and how an AED could be used in an emergency #wearereadytolearn #weareresilient
