@halfbakedhex8 I feel like he did that mostly because his forte was backgrounds and scenery, so he zoomed it out as much as possible so he didnt have to draw as much train which didnt end up working anyway lmao

This one is printed out on my wall and I see it every morning and I always think that it is one of the weirder ones he did and yet this is the best the engines looked under him too

@reddestroyer05 Knapford-wellsworth being at a higher elevation actually makes sense, seeing as the western end of the hill is a good bit shorter than the eastern half, which feels odd to me

@RStudios68 They absolutely were, Knapford-Wellsworth is at a way higher elevation to accommodate the TVS viaduct & the bigger harbour bridges. Also remember the whole route is like, 1/5 the size that it should be, so they really have to distort things to make it all work.

Wonders Of Sodor not including the lil bridge at the foot of Gordon's Hill is so baffling to me. It's on every map, in the illustrations, & in the show. IT LOOKS SO NAKED WITHOUT IT.

@reddestroyer05 the map scans are also probably the reason the viaduct's split into two ( one over the river and one over the land ), why knapford harbor is so big, etc etc--though then again WOS has gordon's hill with both steep gradients on either side, which seemingly isn't on the map ??
