A huge thank you to Birtley Methodist Church for inviting us to watch their Christmas Journey. The children had a lovely morning learning all about the Christmas story and creating their own stable scenes.
Today we had the very important task of planning a healthy sandwich for Santa to eat on Christmas Eve. We tasted lots of different ingredients and practised our slicing, chopping and deseeding skills. We can’t wait to make our sandwiches tomorrow! 🎅🥪
Today we practised our sketching, painting and sculpting skills. We used a banana as our still life piece and explored its shape, colours and textures. We can’t wait to do our final still life project next week!
Today we practised mixing different colours to create a variety of shades and hues. We did this as part of our colour study and in preparation for our final piece art next week.
