We have been making fact files about World Rivers in Geography this afternoon.🌎

We had a brilliant morning taking part in a carousel of times tables activities yesterday. The children worked collaboratively to build number facts, quiz each other and use a timer to increase our speed!😃

In Science today we have been learning about how sounds are made. The children loved investigating the different objects and thought carefully about what was vibrating to make the sound. 🥁👂🏻

We are raring to go this morning and have been practising our 8 times table in lots of different ways.

We had a very messy afternoon in Science investigating the process of digestion!😱 First we took part in a whole class experiment so we could see how it all works. Then we tested each other on our own explanations.

Today we have been describing the events of the Last Supper. We discussed why Christians remember the event today and learnt new vocabulary such as ‘sacrifice’ and ‘humility’.🍞🍷✝️

We worked in groups to order the events in the Easter story. ✝️🐣

We have been making posters to show how the digestive system works. We used independent research skills and team work.

We had a visit to the Book Bistro today! 🍽️🍪 We really enjoyed tasting many different types of books and even had some biscuits!📚

One of the children in our class shared their Chinese New Year traditions and the history behind them. Thank you for our fortune cookies and chocolate coins! We had great fun reading them! 🥠 🧧🐉

We have had a brilliant start to Children’s Mental Health Week. We have been talking about how to take care of our minds and have designed some excellent posters. @Place2Be

Because we worked so hard on our times tables, we enjoyed ice pops and a play in the forest with reception this afternoon. 🌞🌟👏😊

We have been amazing mathematicians this week! We have learnt how to calculate perimeter using a grid and measurements. We loved using matchsticks to problem solve today.🌟👏
