Moira Maloney is a 1st-grade tutor/mentor at @PrimaryHall. During the structured session, students identify words that are tricky for them before reading. This gives the tutor/mentor an opportunity to give the correct pronunciation, allowing for fewer errors during reading.

In preschool, children are developing an understanding of quantity, size, and shape. In the UPK classroom at the Lighthouse Center, Ms. Charmaine makes understanding numbers both fun and meaningful to the children.

RTS Early Literacy Intervention Specialist Elizabeth Wilk conducted a training at Queen City Early Childhood Center on Foundations of Early Literacy: The Importance of Literacy Instruction for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers.
