This evening at 6pm at city hall, we will be leaving public comments with Royal Tower tenants regarding the city's lack of care and concern for their safety and well being. Videos of these comments will be posted later this week.
VICTORY!!! After months of organizing in response to a mass eviction threat, the tenants at N Lawn have won an agreement with the City and their landlord which will allow all eight remaining households to stay in their homes, paying $400 in rent.

Kinda sucks how most housing for low income people is controlled by unelected decision makers who can simply decide not to house people. How can you stop homeless if the people hoarding all the available homes won't house them?

We strongly beleive housing is a human right that should be affordable, safe, and accessible to all! We will be keeping what we have learned in mind for the future when knocking on doors and talking to tenants.
This is a major issue when you consider the large and growing elderly population, military vets, athletes with sport injuries, and other various peoples with some form of disability. tenants.

Simultaneously, they have been leasing to tenants poor quality housing with mold, insects, and bat infestations and not improving conditions. Don't take our word for it, look at the reviews on Facebook and Google.
