Over the course of 3 years Patrick built Mizzou into one of the best visual brands in all of college athletics. And captured some of the most iconic images in program’s history. This place was lucky to have him he is truly the best branding mind in our industry.

this is always a silly argument to me because it’s rooted in that kinda boomer “my life sucks so yours has to as well” mentality lol because what’s are you even inferring by “real job?” my real job pays me real american dollars sorry it’s just also rainbows and butterflies lol

@JasonRMatheson Most of the graphics I see are just re-creation of twitter edits and saying "designers are cooked" like I don't remember time I've made a player edit of just a guy and his name for my job haha

I’ve always believed your value as a creative is in strategic thinking. Not in button-pushing. Machines make you more efficient but can’t replicate knowing your customers. Recruits, fans, donors are human. Correctly-evoked emotion inspires them to action.

As someone myself who got burnt out and quit on my creative passions while I was having my most career success, Liu honestly makes me emotional to watch.
Losing the spark for even a short time is hard, but the journey of re-finding that childhood love of the game is powerful.
