The River Valley League voted to admit two new members for the 2026 season: St. Patrick Irish (Class A) Lake Crystal Nine (Class C) Welcome to the incoming members. The RVL in 2026 will be the home of: 8 Class A Teams 3 Class B Teams 5 Class C Teams

RVL October Meeting scheduled to start shortly at 7pm in Belle Plaine. Any noteworthy developments will be posted later tonight.

Le Sueur finishes runner-up in class C. ending their season 20-7. Le Sueur defeated Hanska 5-4 in an extra inning thriller in the semifinals this afternoon before falling to the Pierz Lakers 11-1 in the championship. Congrats on a heck of season.

Chaska finishes the Class A tourney with a 3rd place finish, falling to Champlin 12-8. Chaska ends the year with a record of 33-6. Their 33 wins are (unofficially) the most in the state, regardless of class. Congrats on an impressive season.

Le Sueur defeats Regal 6-2, and are the last remaining RVL team. Class C, Brownton: 1:00 - Le Sueur (19-6) vs Hanska (18-8) 4:00 - Roseau (14-5) vs Pierz Lakers (16-1) Winners face off at 7pm in the state championship! This is Le Sueur’s 1st semifinal appearance since 1930

Chaska rolls into the semifinals with 8-3 win over North St Paul last night. Class A Semifinals: Today - 4pm in Gaylord Chaska (33-5) vs Champlin (27-10) Class C Quarterfinals: Today - 1:30pm in Hutchinson Le Sueur (18-6) vs Regal (21-11)

Jordan was ousted by Foley 4-0 and Champlin knocked out Shakopee 9-3. Chaska survived 4-2 against Sartell. The RVL showcases 2 teams next weekend: Friday, 7:30 in Brownton CHASKA (32-5) vs North St. Paul (21-9) Saturday, 1:30 in Hutchinson LE SUEUR (18-6) vs Regal (21-11)

Burnsville fell yesterday to the Minneapolis Warriors 5-3. Le Sueur survived Leavenworth 1-0. Le Sueur moves on to the final 8 next weekend. Three more RVL games today; In Gaylord: 11am - Chaska vs Sartell 1:30pm - Shakopee vs Champlin In Hutchinson: 11am - Jordan vs Foley

Logan Feeney went the distance leading Le Sueur to a hard fought 2-0 win over Urbank yesterday. RVL finished the weekend 3-0, with all 5 participants making it to the second weekend.

Shakopee took down the Metro Knights today 9-2. Shakopee scored in 6 different innings and Schleper and Larson combined to strike out 11. FINAL: SHAK 9-12-2 METRO 2-9-1
