Another long term empty in Beckenham town ward. Will @BeckPengeTories @BromleyTories @bromleylabour @BromleyLibDems @BromleyReform committ to reviewing @Bromley Council's empty homes policy and consult the public on it ?

Although not issued (AFAIK) in this case, Section 215 Notices can be very useful to get sites tidied up.

Very well attended AGM last night with Cllrs Ireland, Tickner and Ross. Fascinating talk by Gita Bapat about her work with Samaritans - they save so many lives. Also, presentation to Dee Janes, some planning stuff, live music and conversations with friends until late!

Wonderful send off for Dee Janes this morning! A great tribute paid to her by her boss David Wornham including the notable description of Dee as 'employee most likely to get me fired!' Many friends and colleagues turned up to say a heartfelt and appreciative thank you.

Leslie Watmore RIP We regret to announce the death yesterday evening of our former Chair, Leslie Watmore. He had been ill for some time but died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. A kind, gentle and dignified man, a true gentleman to the very end.
