Madam Mireille Batamuliza, the Permanent Secretary from MIGEPROF, emphasized that the collaboration with media and partners is essential in addressing child defilement, Gender Based Violence, teenage pregnancies, and new infections HIV/STIs.

Dr. Laurence Isaaya Ntawunga from RBC, delivered an insightful session on preventing teenage pregnancies, HIV/AIDS, and STIs. He emphasized the importance of public awareness, accurate information, and the role of media in promoting health and well-being of young people.

Dr. Murangira B.Thierry, the RIB Spokesperson, Crime, Research & Prevention Division Manager, presented on preventing child defilement and highlighted the role of media in raising awareness .

Media professionals highlighted their critical role in preventing child defilement,teenage pregnancies, new infections of HIV/AIDS. They were advised for impactful reporting to change mindsets, protect health and future of young people.

Media professionals, visited Isange One Stop Center (ISOC) to better understand services provided to GBV victims. Participants committed to strengthening awareness on preventing child defilement and teenage pregnancies and encouraging the community to seek for ISOC services.

Today in Kigali, MIGEPROF, RIB, in partnership with @RWACHI_25 & @ahfrwanda convened a meeting of media professionals and partners to discuss strategies for preventing child defilement, teenage pregnancies, and new infections of HIV&STIs.
