We are heartbroken by the news that a @Reuters journalist was killed & others from @AlJazeera & @AFP were injured by artillery while covering clashes in south Lebanon. Protecting journalists is a concern for all of us. As journalists stand up for truth, we stand with them.

Almost 9p on a Saturday and students are working hard on video edits for their #SPJHSSummer projects. Faculty guiding. Student coaches are audibly and visibly proud. Smiles. Clapping. This is collaboration and team work at its finest and I know they’ll experience this one day in college and pro newsrooms for years to come. This is what makes @spj_tweets great.
