In the only event he didn’t win – at Höljes – he led until he picked up a puncture, and he went on to wrap up the laurels one round early. The Frenchman has since gone on to race in EuroRX, @FIAWorldRX and Projekt E, as he continues to prove himself as one of RX’s leading lights.

Raymond entered the inaugural season of RX2 as the defending champ, having conquered the RX Lites crown the previous year. The @olsbergsmse ace swiftly made it apparent that he had no intention of giving his title up, going on a spectacular run of six triumphs from seven starts.

It was only a luckless end to the season in Cape Town – plagued by electrical issues – that cost him 2nd in the standings in his maiden campaign. Returning in 2020, Kallio again claimed 3rd in the title table – despite racing through the pain barrier at Nysum with a wrist injury.

Kallio has one of the best podiums-to-starts ratios in RX2, with an impressive 78% strike rate. Debuting with @olsbergsmse in 2019, the Finn served signal of intent by reaching the rostrum first time out in Barcelona. He would repeat the feat at each of the following four events.

Following a season on the sidelines, Krogstad returned to RX2 for its one-off showdown this year with @YellowSquadRX, completing his road to redemption by clinching the coveted crown in a high-calibre field at Nysum – with it, securing the accompanying @RX2eOfficial prize drive.

Krogstad joined RX2 in 2018, making an instant impression by reaching the rostrum on his debut. He went on to establish himself as Oliver Eriksson and Guillaume De Ridder’s closest competitor, and looked set to win at Lohéac until an error exiting the joker sent him into a spin.

A man with more #RX2 starts under his belt than most, Gryazin was a permanent fixture in the @FIAWorldRX feeder series from 2017 to 2019. A consistent contender from the outset with @SRT_lv, the Latvian achieved a podium in each season as he adapted his rally-honed skills to RX.

The Swede got the better of @olsbergsmse team-mate @g_ridder for the 2018 title, before doubling up with an even more commanding performance in 2019. Since then, Eriksson has clinched the coveted #RallyXNordic Supercar crown and took a clean sweep of EuroRX victories this year.

Oliver Eriksson arrived in RX2 with an impressive reputation – and swiftly lived up to it. Eight wins and ten podium finishes from 14 starts is quite a record by any standards, particularly in such a fiercely-contested single-make series.

De Ridder won twice in 2018, challenging @olsbergsmse team-mate Oliver Eriksson throughout. After a season in @FIAWorldRX with the GCK Academy, the Belgian returned to RX2 at Nysum this year and instantly blew away the cobwebs with a spectacular comeback triumph.

Guillaume De Ridder is one of the most successful drivers in #RX2 history. From a rallying background, he did not take long to adapt, as three rostrum finishes fired him to third in the standings in his rookie campaign. The following year produced a full-on title assault.

That effort secured McConnell 2nd place on his debut – a result he repeated in the Cape Town finale. In-between, there were plenty more crowd-pleasing moments as the series’ showman established himself as an undisputed front-runner – securing a legion of supporters along the way.
