There’s a false rumor that I voted against the Save America Act today. I’ll vote for it when it comes to the floor. I voted against a “rule” that allows it to get a vote, but the “rule” also suspends house rules and allows spending bills to come to the floor with no 24hr notice!

Logano prevented the Denny Hamlin championship. Very subtle, but blocking his run by cutting down in 1-2 on the restart was all it took. You could say Joey was just racing and trying to finish as good as he could…but I think he accomplished exactly what he had in mind.

Not at all. I like playoffs and some elimination. If NASCAR was a 17-race season with 27 cars at most races, I'd probably think different. I am not biggest fan of one race to determine the NASCAR champion but I like having postseason-style format. I like stages, too, in NASCAR.

Don’t let our fan base off the hook. They got off on crowing about how a small market put up better numbers than larger markets for years. Until being a good fan got hard. Now they’re showing themselves to be fair weather fans. No shame in that, especially when ownership/front office has royally fumbled the bag, but we don’t get to call ourselves the “Best Fans In Baseball” anymore. For a time, sure, and it was a great run, but not anymore.

I’m pro chase or playoff or whatever you call it. I’m anti a one race championship. 16 teams in it is too many. 10 was exclusive. 12 max. 3 races per round and 3 rounds. 12->8->4 = 1 deserving champ.

Those streaming races are full of unknowns. Wonder how many of his open races consist of those? JGR was once rumored to have more sponsorship revenue coming in than HMS and Penske just a few years ago with sponsors like Bass Pro, FedEx and M&M’s. Resets happen.
