There’s a lot of Chamberlin’ism going on here I feel.

@Keir_Starmer I can't believe it. The state of the UK navy means that we can't defend ourselves. Not only the navy but the other services as well are in such a run down state that any attack on the UK could only be averted because the US has bases here, and obviously they don't have any problems shooting back.

@UKLabour I can't believe it. The state of the UK navy means that we can't defend ourselves. Not only the navy but the other services as well are in such a run down state that any attack on the UK cold only be averted because the US has bases here, and obviously they don't have any qualms about fighting back. So what happens if Russia decides we are a sitting duck? Or any other tin pot regime for that matter. I live right by a large container port, and I see no defences anywhere nearby. I see lots of people on benefits, but no military.

amzn.eu/d/05fuWYvt Book overview For centuries, the world endured because the Great Wheel kept turning.

It governed balance, bound a Dark Lord beneath the world, and ensured that destiny—no matter how cruel—always repeated itself. Kings rose and fell. Wars returned. Evil learned.

Antonin never wanted to rule anything. But when ancient seals awaken, dragons rise from legend, and rival powers seek control of the Wheel itself, he is forced into a conflict where survival depends not on prophecy—but on choice.

Alongside fierce warriors, Wind Readers, and a young woman bound to a living Seal, Antonin must face enemies who believe the world is only safe if it remains trapped in endless cycles of power and suffering. As the Dark Lord Be’lal begins to stir within his prison, every decision tightens the strain on reality itself.

The final battle will not be fought for a throne.

@GBNEWS Interesting, but I notice when I get news updates on my phone messages service, I click the link, and there is no sign of the news item.
