Biggest aspect of this is more so his long term cap hold
Say we sign him to a 25mil a year deal and he retires next year, we lose that 25mil cap hold next year and can only replace it with the 15mil MLE

Sorry, call me irrational or tell me I'm trippin, but if it's within reason, I'm throwing a bag at Kessler. Not because he's all-NBA or because he's prime Shaq. But we are in great need of a bona fide answer at the center position, and I can't find many centers that check as many boxes as him. That's just a fact. This is his impact on his last semi-healthy season in 2025. Homewrecker on the interior. Our need for a center may inflate his value, but I Iong for the day when we stop the carousel of fly-by-night centers on the cheap like Thomas Bryant and Damian Jones or "you get what you pay for" centers like Ayton. If you wanna vex with me, go ahead and vex. But sometimes you gotta invest and swing for the fences, and I think this presents as a good long-term piece to complement Luka (and AR). Thoughts?
