Hey psych twitter, I'm on the hunt for large open datasets with many variables to use in a psych stats class project (students think my health-based practice data isn't psych enough!) Large to subsample from for each student, and from any psych field. Do you know of some?

2y community college + 3y university: My current student loan balance is 40K (private) + 25K (federal). My 71yo working-class single parent carries another 45K in Plus loans on my behalf. The balances of these loans have grown 8K+ while I pursue my PhD. Is this social mobility?

@MyerAnnalisa You seem to have a pretty broad reach on Twitter, maybe you could utilize that? & consider emailing administrators in depts asking to send to their PhD students. I get many emails from our admins that appear to be folks requesting they fwd to us (often about jobs/internships)!

@courtney_herms @PhDVoice If it’s something you’ll enjoy (or at least not hate), you have consistent spare time, and your program doesn’t prohibit outside employment (have you checked?), side jobs can be great. You can make extra money & build social connections outside your program.

@tweetsbymidge @SPSPnews This is what the speaker guidelines say will happen, so I am also assuming so. I was initially confused about whether anyone would have access to the video if my talk had no tech failures/issues.

@tweetsbymidge @SPSPnews Presenter guide says the pre-recorded video will be posted on the virtual platform after our live talks end. So, I believe the vid is not just for tech issue backup, but also for asynchronous attendee viewing.
