@gooneruk I totally understood what was going on in the first half, and I know some people didn’t. So maybe I’m a terminally online sarcastic twat too! 😂 I just knew the second half was we coming and that’s the writing I enjoy. So I got frustrated when it took so long. V clever though.

@RachelDavies_ And No-One Is Talking About This: a first half for the terminally online sarcastic twats like myself, and then a completely different, emotionally painful second half. I enjoyed the gear change, I have to admit, probably as I’m a parent as well one of those online people.

An eclectic selection of reading from 2023. Apparently, it’s possible to read more than one novel about a woman befriending a large octopus. 🐙 Very much looking forward to 2024’s list. 📖

@gooneruk I really liked this too. It made me reflect on some of my own behaviours, which wasn’t always comfortable but necessary.

@RachelDavies_ Such A Fun Age - I really liked this, mainly for the insights into the transition from womanhood to motherhood, or at least that’s how that character was portrayed.

Big thanks to the train manager on my @CrossCountryUK train. Train is packed and I couldn't get to the wheelchair space. He made everyone get off, and then reboard once I'd got to the space safely. He also reminded passengers the wheelchair space needs to be empty at all times.
