It’s nearly go time. Steve Templeton is currently listening to Pantera drinking a protein shake. Steve is different. He was built for this. He was born for this. This is his time. He will be wearing his signature blue. Let’s see if he hits the air with his jacket in tact. #stlwx

Congratulations to our post-doc @RLTriplett for her great symposium talk @ACNPorg! She shared findings relating prenatal adversity to neonatal brain volumes and behavioral outcomes at age 2 years. #ACNP2022

#ACNP2022 Check out my poster, T15, if you’re interested in the relationships between crime, neonatal functional connectivity, and externalizing behaviors in toddlerhood! I’ll be presenting TONIGHT from 5:30-7:30pm in Phoenix @ACNPorg

Findings suggest that the effects of early life adversity on white matter microstructure, particularly in the cingulum bundle, may begin in utero and that we need to support expectant parents during this time of critical fetal brain development

@RachelEmmaLean’s latest preprint shows links between prenatal adversity and lower diffusivity in the cingulum bundle, uncinate, & fornix. Interestingly, prenatal maternal stress only moderated this link for families above 2x the federal poverty line. Definitely give it a read!

Preprint alert! In our next set of findings from the eLABE study, we examine prospective links between adversity in utero and white matter connectivity at birth 1/3
