@birdietamart My problem was my biggest relaxation activity became my job when I started freelancing, so my rule for myself is I do digital only for work purposes, (since it's faster/easier to make changes) and then I find a few times a month to do traditional just for me outside of that

artists who do traditional painting & digital art: do you feel like you make more digital art than traditional art these days to keep up with social media? cause I feel like I rarely do traditional art now since it takes so much longer than digital

got my flu shot today!!! I’ve always avoided it because of my needle phobia but I did it and it feels good 😤

@F0x_hunt I think fur and fur trim is half off at fabricland but it’s still decently pricey, my only other thought is that some thrift stores have fabric, other than that potentially looking for fur throw blankets?

@F0x_hunt You could try looking at deadstock fabric suppliers, although don’t have any recommendations for specific ones. ‘Novelty’ fabrics like that usually go on sale after Halloween too!

Wishing animal crossing a very Brewster this morning

Although I mainly draw landscapes, I’ve been focusing a lot on drawing interior spaces lately

I was originally doing a page a day, (this technique is my art block cure!) but once I got back into my usual productivity, I cut down to just filling squares in as I feel like it since it's a lot of work

This is the page layout I use if anyone wants to try this method, I do 15 small thumbnails, blow up 5 of them I want to work on larger into the medium sqares, and then one big square for my favourite.

A few months ago I started a thumbnail book for jotting down compositions to use whenever I get stuck. I'm starting to run out of new thumbnail ideas, so I've been rendering some of them out. It's exciting to see how these little inch and a half sketches turn out 🏡🌿
