PA Governor Josh Shapiro's political influence is on the primary ballot. He just passed his first major test of the midterms with Bob Brooks. Brooks was in a crowded field fighting for the Democratic nomination in PA's 7th District. Brooks will take on GOP Rep. Ryan Mackenzie in November.

On Monday, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R- IA) released the Committee's reconciliation title. In it: $3.47 billion for CBP through 2029, $30.725 billion for ICE through 2029. $1 billion for Secret Service for security adjustments, upgrades relating to the East Wing modernization project including above-ground and below-ground security features.

SCOTUS strikes down Louisiana's voting map- Justices said the map illegally used race when drawing up a new majority-Black district. The liberal Justices- in their dissent- said the Court has now taken the final step in dismantling the landmark civil rights law. Some states could scramble to redraw the lines.
