The problem is that the documents Candace released don’t say what she’s claiming they say. The FBI did not deny the request, and the letter does not state the burden was “too great.” It says the request requires additional processing time due to “unusual circumstances,” including searching multiple offices and reviewing a large volume of records. That’s a delay notice, not a denial. If the evidence supports the claim, then quote the actual language from the letter rather than paraphrasing it into something more dramatic.

When we said “denied” we meant denied the mandated 20 day turnaround for an FOIA response. We WERE, in fact, denied that citing “unusual circumstances”. Finding a husband and having children is one of the most worthy pursuits in my opinion— and that’s not the problem.
