My dad earned his PhD exactly 30 yrs ago. He came to the US unable to speak English, leaving behind his family & home to pursue an education. This week, I earned my PhD in #impsci & #healthequity and wore my dad’s doctoral robes to graduation. I so wish my dad could be here (1/2)
