With Day 5 of the 2024 Seeds for Snapper season now complete we have passed the 300 000 fruit mark! 💪🌱 #posidonia #australis


Day 2 has yielded another 87 000 fruit thanks to our @ozfishunlimited volunteer divers! Soon these tanks will be full of seeds instead of fruit! #seagrass #restoration #posidonia


And we're off! The 2024 Seeds for Snapper season is officially underway with over 85 000 fruit collected on our first day thanks to the incredible volunteer divers from @ozfishunlimited

Back in Australia, training and working with @CoralEMU @Rachel_Austin_ (Gary Kendrick’s lab) at UWA, Perth. Microsensors are now positioned inside the #seagrass leaf, measuring sulfide and oxygen over time. Going to be very interesting to see the final results. @seas_green
