Overall meat and livestock exports worth €4.3bn

Limerick dairy farmer Michael Carroll takes to the stage at Teagasc’s National Dairy Conference taking place today at Limerick Racecourse. Michael is milking 145 cows on 100ha. He is due to start calving on 20 January and only milks once a day for the first 6 weeks. @teagasc

@farmersjournal IFA president Francie Gorman said at the meeting: “This equipment is not suitable for hilly areas full stop.” He spoke about the negative economic and environmental impacts of using LESS in hilly areas.
