I spent this past weekend in Chicago. It's shocking to me that outside of the downtown area that the city is in such disrepair. The roads and bridges are in terrible shape. I guess this is what happens when your tax dollars go to supporting immigrants over paying for infrastructure. Downtown by Lakeshore is nice but what I saw outside of that area is alarming. The Interstates are also too narrow and that's why traffic is backed up 12 hours a day on the freeways. It's a nice city and I am glad I got to see it but it made me sad that the people there are so misinformed that they keep voting for people who allow things to just get worse.
