Was just about announce an immediate return to action as 2 method horses had landed at monster prices in the last 6 days. Keep It Cool 200/1🥈on Monday then Emerald Harmony @ 33/1 winning today… only to suddenly find out Emerald Harmony was beaten (apparently) 😂 Simply BS. There is absolutely 0 chance Juan Les Pins has got up there. Look at where they cut the stream on the replay, how on earth can it make up that distance with the nod in favour of Emerald Harmony too…? Completely fixed result and not the first time we’ve seen it. Tundra 2021 the best example. Photo “On the line” taken miles before/after the actual line when the horses back legs were at a complete different stride to the video replay. They can post the photos at whatever point close to the line they want. Awful look but that’s racing lol.

Nah heads gone that Tundra incident is daylight robbery. LOOK at her legs from the actual broadcast vs legs from the ‘official photo’… Photo was taken way after the line as they start to slow down.

@youhavinthat Haha good way to look at it mate. I can somehow say I think im on the winning side more often than not. But I’ll only ever remember the bad beats. Typical… Didn’t have a penny on this one today just could not believe the result for love nor money.

@RacingStrats I’ve come to realise from numerous personal disappointments over the years that if it looks like you’ve won on the nod with the naked eye then you’ve almost certainly lost, and vice versa. I get more excited when it looks like I’ve been nutted now haha

Yeah fair. Ill admit, Newcastle has caught me out many a time in the moment but rarely ever enough for me to post about it like today. Happy to take back what I said after seeing the in line video still and of course the mirrors perspective angle. That Tundra race in 2021 there’s no getting past though. I may have put up a SS of the horse 3-4 frames too late on the line but even that would be nowhere near where the photo finish had the horses back leg strides at.

I had this in the same category of 2… when I say theres been ‘tons of other’ im talking about a broader perspective of races you think you’ve won vs (2 others) almost absolute certainty theres no possibility you think the horse has lost. Tundra 2021, Junker D’allier 2023 are the 2 i’d have this in the same category with. Ive since seen the still of the video in line with the mirror and I can see JLP up there.

@RacingStrats The broadcast camera isn’t in line with the finish line. They very rarely are. Easily explains the “hundreds” (you can remember two in the last 5 years) of occurrences

@JockeyFails Ill be honest mate I did see this under another guys post and fair play. Ive put up what I said before seeing this but yeah… Thats the shot I was looking for. And nope, thousands of bets and Newcastle its not quite Dundalk’s angle though is it.

Love this sport too much to walk away completely but what happened on Friday really did make me consider it. Just lost all motivation to even watch a race after that. Planned to stay away for a bit longer so wont promise the daily selections like normal for a while still. May just have a bet to put up here or there.

Nope not seen it mate but that’s the point. They can post the photo at whatever point they want whether it’s on the line or not… anyone on Emerald Harmony has been completely mugged off. Look at these photos from a race in 2021 (horses back legs stride placement) The official ‘Photo finish’ was not even close to the line. So if they do post the photo for this race it certainly wont be from on the line…
