Hey @MonopolyGO (@scopely) why can't I tap on (or double tap) on shields in the Showroom to preview the shield breaking animation? I've had this shield for a while, have no clue what its animation looks like as I've never encountered anyone else with it.

In an new article by FRVR, Zakhar Bocharov and Ievgen Kulyk from GSC Game World share some more insight into the Unreal Engine 5.5 Upgrade. Kulyk mentions the reason the upgrade is taking so long is due to the number of custom plugins / systems GSC created themselves for the engine (and it takes a long time to update all of them) “Still, if the new tech helps the game run better and feel nicer, we’re all in.” They also state that they believe players will “really feel a difference once the full upgrade is ready”. Mostly known, but still sharing. Good hunting, stalkers.

I like how I had two packages scheduled to be delivered today by UPS one was delivered and the second just stayed on the truck apparently and he drove it around the countryside now he’s taking it back to the facility so I can get a notice about it being delivered again tomorrow.

If this happens it is going to be massive. It's very rare for a game to get a major engine upgrade after launch. Only @HuntShowdown and @Fortnite spring to mind for me, though I'm sure there are others.
