This vivid cerulean sky depicts a perfect day at Montage Mountain. I’ve used an airbrush to define the shadows of the trees lining each ski run. Next I’ll work from top to bottom to add more details and—you guessed it—countless trees! #Skiing #MontageMtn #SKITHEEAST

Mount Jamison Resort encompasses a forest of hardwood and evergreen trees. I’m reflecting this diverse forest habitat into their new map and I’m liking the contrasting colors against the snow’s cool shadows.

Moving forward on a little painting progress for Mount Jamison located in Timmins, Ontario. The graphite sketch informed my approach for this phase of painting and I’m beginning with some airbrushed shadows before I lock into painting the ski area’s terrain.

Here’s another look at that mighty local hill in Timmins, Ontario. This is Mount Jamison with 8.9 km of trails and 2 chairlifts providing 400 feet of vertical drop. Winter lovers can enjoy snow tubing, a terrain park while warmer months offer hiking and mountain biking.
